ANANDAYATRA: CULTURAL INCLUSION
Anandayatra-A Journey of Joy and Inclusion
SHER started ANANDAYATRA in 2015, an initiative that provides an opportunity to selected children who share space with wildlife living in the fringe villages of forest areas to experience the festive extravaganza of the mainstream. A group of children from fringe villages of Sundarban Tiger Reserve, tribal areas of Howrah and Hooghly were escorted to the city of joy by team-SHER for a daylong pandal hopping driving deep into the festivities of Kolkata. This was a first-time experience for all the children who went back with loads of experience and happiness to be shared with their family and friends.
